Personal zine for TSPTR

Brief: To produce a zine using the clothing brand TSPTR newest collection, either a personal zine inspired by the collection or a lookbook incorporating the clothing, I chose the former. We had to roughly create a 12-page zine with a A3 poster
Client: Russ Gator, founder of TSPTR
Idea:TSPTR’s collection’s theme was of the infamous 60’s counter culture, so immediately I felt I needed to channel my inner Timothy Leary to make my psychedelic ant-establishment zine that would have to be thought outside the box to do justice.
Response: The zine was well received, I was given a gift from the client for being voted “most experimental zine.” They enjoyed how I pushed the brief to come up with something unique without abandoning design or my content for my chosen subject, the client even said that he was impressed by the content saying that it was easy to be derivative with such a subject and that I wasn’t.
