Self-negotiated brief: THERE IS PLASTIC IN MY BLOOD

My self-devised project, "THERE IS PLASTIC IN MY BLOOD," focuses on what I believe are the core issues of sustainability, that the blame should lie on unregulated industry and not the individual; I believe through community, radical creativity and new thinking we can forge a much better trajectory for us all.

For my outcome I made a bioplastic zine using a variety of approaches and found materials, each page was completely unique using a different recipe, materials and UV printed content.

The bioplastic zine personifies the ideals of the visual report and my mock agency “PLASTIC ASPHYXIATION”, hopes to bring together a strong community of like-minded individuals showcasing radical creativity, appreciation of nature and a “start from scratch” approach when it comes to the thinking of these contemporary issues.
